  Sabina Zarlenga is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation (LPCC-SUPV), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Addictions-Informed Mental Health Professional (CAIMHP), and an Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning (ESMHL) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. With a decade of clinical experience and a foundation in both Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, she integrates advanced clinical training, specializes in trauma-informed care with a client-centered approach that promotes safety, resilience, and long-term healing. Sabina brings a deep commitment to innovation, expertise, empathy, and compassion to her work.

Sabina holds dual Master of Science degrees in Clinical Psychology (Specializing in Forensic Psychology) and Mental Health Counseling, graduating with highest honors, and has completed advanced doctoral coursework in Clinical Psychology. Her background includes extensive experience in trauma recovery, substance use treatment, domestic violence intervention, program development, and crisis stabilization across community mental health and telehealth settings.

Throughout her career, Sabina has served diverse populations, offering individual and group psychotherapy, risk and biopsychosocial assessments, and trauma-informed interventions. Her work reflects a holistic understanding of human behavior and a steadfast dedication to fostering emotional wellness, personal growth, and empowerment in the individuals and communities she serves.

When she’s not working with clients or developing therapeutic programs, Sabina enjoys spending time outdoors, connecting with animals, and exploring new ways to merge her love for psychology and equine work to support emotional, behavioral, and social development. She is dedicated to integrating traditional therapeutic approaches cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with experiential modalities such as equine-assisted learning (EAL) and equine-facilitated psychotherapy (EFP) to help clients develop the insight necessary to achieve meaningful lasting changes and unique life experiences.

In addition to her clinical work, Sabina is recognized for her leadership, creativity, and dedication to professional development. She is an active member of national counseling and psychology honor societies and continues to pursue ongoing training in trauma-informed care, equine-assisted services, and integrative therapeutic practices.
